Prosthetics on Implants
Implantation is an advanced area of dentistry. During treatment the patient gets an ability to restore both single and long stretches of missing teeth, without being able to tell the difference from natural teeth. Implants can also serve as a support for fixing full dentures. Additionally, the treatment process does not affected the adjacent teeth.
After completing the surgical part of the treatment, it is necessary to wait for a certain time, which gives the possibility to the implant to stabilize in the bone.Once the implant is stable, only then we can move one to the next stage. The period of implant healing can last from three to six months.
The next stage of treatment - the so-called choice Abutment (connecting part of the implant and the crown) which can be made of metal or zirconium ( this option lets you obtain a higher aesthetic result).
Further treatment is similar to placement of crowns or bridges on natural teeth. To complete these jobs we can use not only metal-ceramic constructions but also metal free ceramics, such as zirconium oxide.
